Based on the implementation of the CNC curriculum and IB teaching methodology, strategies and assessments are being creatively blended, it enable students to use bilingualism for inquiry-based learning, to expand the breadth of thinking, to develop communication skills, multicultural understanding, global awareness and participation. Lezhi department focuses on developing students' bilingual ability and consolidating their academic foundation based on the CNC curriculum.

Beijing Enlighten School provides high-quality basic education for children aged 5-15. The curriculum at BES is cumulative. There are established units and objectives at each grade level—in English and in Chinese—that build upon knowledge and skills attained in the course of the year. We believe that bringing students into school at the beginning of the school year is the fastest way to help children adapt and transition to BES. Despite the cumulative nature of our curriculum and the timeline of our admission process, it may be possible, in rare circumstances, for us to admit students mid-year.
