Gavin Johnson
Secondary School Principal of IB Department
Graduated from the University of Edge Hill in England with a Bachelor’s degree in IT and Business Management and also a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Currently half way through his Master’s degree in educational leadership.
19 years of educational experience with 10 of those years being in a school leadership role. Worked in England, Qatar, Indonesia and spent the past 6 years in Beijing at IB schools.
Led the team in former three schools to authorization in both the IB MYP and DP programs along with accreditation with WASC and CIS.
2 children of my own which will attend BES and I am confident they will get the best education here.
It is our responsibility as educators to deliver the best educational experience for all our students by staying up to date with educational developments and teaching and learning stratergies.
Our Program
Based on the implementation of the CNC curriculum and IB PYP/MYP teaching methodology, strategies and assessments are being creatively blended. BES is committed to cultivating and educating future designers, change-makers and innovators.
