Jason Platt
IB PYP Homeroom Teacher
Jason Platt grew up in Coventry, England, studying at Coventry University, where he was an award winning graduate. He has applied for IPGCE of University of Derby. After arriving in China, Mr Platt began his career in teaching primary school children and early years education, teaching at LiMai Chinese American International School in Beijing and becoming the Foreign Director of the kindergarten there. During his time in the directors’ role, Mr Platt was responsible for organising and overseeing events as well as being involved in the curriculum development at the school. A keen sportsman and with interests in music, Mr Platt brings energy and excitement to the classroom with a focus on engaging students based on their interests. Mr Platt’s full focus and dedication is to the children in his class and achieving their potential.
Our Program
Based on the implementation of the CNC curriculum and IB PYP/MYP teaching methodology, strategies and assessments are being creatively blended. BES is committed to cultivating and educating future designers, change-makers and innovators.
