Nolan Wu

College Counselor, Director of Boarding Centre, I&S/Humanities Teacher 

Nolan Wu studied at the University of Sydney for a Master of Education degree. She has spent three years in Hefei No.6 High School as College Counselor where she was fully responsible for helping high school students‘ with their college applications.  She has also worked as an overseas summer program coordinator for college students, and a Chinese Philosophy teacher for supporting students to learn traditional Chinese thinking. Later, she moved to China World Academy, Suzhou where she worked as the Student Life Officer and Boarding Head since their founding year. Not only was she responsible for building the structure of the Student Council and School Discipline framework, but she also severed a mentor role for boarders with her prior college counsellor experience. Nolan Wu embodies the spirit of a lifelong learner and nature adventurer, which helps her to communicate with the younger generation well. 

Our Program

Based on the implementation of the CNC curriculum and IB PYP/MYP teaching methodology, strategies and assessments are being creatively blended. BES is committed to cultivating and educating future designers, change-makers and innovators.
