Stepan Chernetskiy
IB Drama Teacher
Stepan graduated from the Central Academy of Drama with a master's degree in filming and theatre and since then has created several short films and screenplay short films. His works as a screenwriter, director and producer have received awards at international film festivals in England, Turkey and Russia. As an actor Stepan starred in such Chinese movies and TV shows as "Cafe by the Highway", "The Sun has risen", etc., as well as various commercials for Oppo and Vivo. For several years Stepan has been teaching drama and public speaking in drama centers, schools and camps around China. He’s worked with young actors of all age groups and directed such shows, musicals and films as: The Treasure Island, Winnie the Pooh, Matilda, The Wizard of Oz, Little Women, Harry Potter and so on. Within the drama course and extracurricular activities Stepan also teaches filmmaking, stop motion animation and character animation.

Based on the implementation of the CNC curriculum and IB PYP/MYP teaching methodology, strategies and assessments are being creatively blended. BES is committed to cultivating and educating future designers, change-makers and innovators.
